Slow hot water solution

Some significant number of Jubilee homes find one or more bathrooms a long ways from the hot water tank. And when you go to take a shower it can be 2 or 3 minutes before the water travels the distance to the shower head. That's a lot of precious water going down the drain. If the wait and the waste bother you, a clever invention can much improve the situation. A hot water recirculation pump. In essence, on a set timer, it runs hot water thru the cold line in a loop and back to the tank so warm water is a least as close as the faucet nearest the shower. No extra energy is consumed other than the little bit used by this very quiet little unit. This can be installed by someone with basic plumbing familiarity or any plumber of course. I've one in my home and have friends who've installed one and everyone reports a big improvement. Here's the item. Available locally at Home Depot, Lowes or Amazon. You're welcome to call me (Steve Davis in the directory). I can't install it for you but would be happy to explain how it works and what's involved in the install.
