Quote from Dantelfair on September 4, 2024, 2:06 pmThe Covenants of Jubilee
We have covenants to tell us what’s wrong and what’s right,
And limit how late we can party at night.
They dictate which rights homeowners lose,
While Avalon can do whatever they choose.
Things that we can do and things that we can’t,
They even govern which bushes we plant.
There are covenants that control all on-street parking,
And those that set limits on late night dog barking.
And to keep from offending anyone who might see,
They tell us how high things in our back yards can be.
They govern every aspect of Jubilee living,
Even the food cooked for the Villa Thanksgiving.
Covenants cover one thing and another,
But do they really require that we wave at each other?
